Who we are

Can Man is an owner-operated trash bin cleaning and pressure washing business based in Oxford, Mississippi, serving Oxford, Abbeville, Taylor, Water Valley, Batesville, Pontotoc, New Albany, and Holly Springs. In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “Can Man” mean that business, and “the site” means canmanclean.com.

This policy covers the information we handle through the site and through the normal course of quoting and performing our services.

What we collect

Information you give us

When you request a quote, call, text, or email us, you choose what to send. Typically that is your name, phone number, email address, the town or address where the work would happen, which service you are interested in, and whatever details you tell us about the job.

Our quote form is provided and hosted by Jobber (Octopusapp Inc.), the scheduling and invoicing software we run the business on. When you submit that form, your information goes directly into our Jobber account and is handled under Jobber’s own privacy practices as well as this policy.

If you become a customer, we also keep the ordinary records a service business keeps: your service address, your service history and schedule, notes about the property relevant to doing the work, and invoice and payment records. Card payments are processed by our payment provider — we do not store your full card number.

Information collected automatically

The site is hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs for security and reliability. Those logs can include your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you requested, and the date and time. We do not use this information to build a profile of you, and we do not try to identify you from it.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not run advertising or analytics trackers. We have not installed Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or cross-site tracking of any kind, and our web fonts are served from our own domain rather than a third party. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

The one exception is the embedded quote form on our quote page: Jobber may set cookies necessary to make that form work and to prevent abuse. If you would rather not load it at all, just call or email us instead — we are happy to take your details that way.

How we use it

We use the information you give us to:

  • Answer your question and prepare a quote.
  • Schedule, perform, and follow up on the work.
  • Invoice you and keep our books straight.
  • Send service reminders and, if you are on a plan, let you know when we are coming.
  • Keep records we are required to keep, and resolve any dispute about a job.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent, trade, or share it with anyone for their own marketing. We have never done so and we do not intend to start.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the companies that help us run the business, and only as much as they need:

  • Jobber (Octopusapp Inc.) — our quote form, scheduling, customer records, and invoicing.
  • Vercel — website hosting and server logs.
  • Our email provider — delivering messages sent through the site to our inbox.
  • Our payment processor — handling card payments, which it processes under its own privacy terms.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, if we are responding to a valid legal request, or if it is necessary to protect someone’s safety or our legal rights. If we ever sell or transfer the business, customer records may transfer with it, and this policy would continue to apply to information collected before the transfer.

Calls, texts, and email

When you give us your phone number, you are agreeing that we may contact you about your request and your service — by phone call, text message, or email — including confirmations, scheduling, arrival notices, and invoices.

  • Consent is not a condition of purchase. You can hire us without agreeing to receive text messages; just tell us to call instead.
  • Message frequency varies and depends on your service schedule. Message and data rates may apply from your carrier.
  • To stop text messages, reply STOP to any message from us, or just tell us. Reply HELP for help, or call us at (662) 259-8283.
  • We do not share your phone number with third parties for their marketing, and we do not sell it. Ever.

If we ever send promotional email, every message will include a way to unsubscribe, and unsubscribing will never affect the service you are already paying for.

Photos of your property

We photograph our work — that is where the before-and-after pictures on this site come from. Those photos show surfaces: driveways, walkways, patios, concrete, and bins.

When we use a job photo publicly, we do not publish your name, your street address, or anything else identifying you, and we do not tag your location.

If you would prefer we not photograph your property at all, tell us before or during the visit and we will not. If a photo of your property is already on this site or on our social media and you want it taken down, email us at getcanmanclean@gmail.com and we will remove it. You do not have to give a reason.

How long we keep it

We keep quote requests that do not turn into work for about two years, in case you come back to us. Customer and invoice records we keep as long as we need them for tax, accounting, and warranty purposes, which is usually seven years. After that we delete or anonymize them. You can ask us to delete your information sooner — see below.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and the services we rely on are established providers with their own security programs. We limit who can see customer records to the people who need them to do the work. That said, no method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure, and we cannot promise absolute security. Please do not send us sensitive information such as Social Security numbers or full card numbers by email or text — we will never ask you for those.

Your choices

Whatever state you live in, and regardless of whether a privacy law requires it of a business our size, we will honor these requests:

  • See it — ask what information we hold about you.
  • Fix it — correct anything that is wrong.
  • Delete it — remove your information, except records we are required to keep.
  • Stop contacting you — by text, by email, or altogether.

Email getcanmanclean@gmail.com or call (662) 259-8283 and we will take care of it. We may need to confirm who you are first so we do not hand your information to someone else. We will not charge you for this and we will not treat you differently for asking.

Children

This site is meant for adults arranging services for a property. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top. If the change is significant, we will do more than that — we will tell current customers directly.
